Director of Photography for hire

Will Stewart is a Gold ADDY Award winning Director of Photography.

He got his start in video production as the Creative Director of a marketing agency. After helping build the camera department of the agency, he fell in love with the craft. It was then that he pursued his calling as a filmmaker.

He eventually worked his way up to be the cinematographer on projects for Volkswagen, BMW, BMW MINI, Audi, Ryobi, Home Depot, GE, Samsung, BMW, Michelin, TD Bank, and many others.

His passion is painting a story through cinematic lighting. His thoughtful approach to lighting sets him apart from his contemporaries and brings agencies and Directors to him.

Director of Photography for hire

In 2013 he started a video production company in Greenville, SC called 9/8 Central. Through that company, he heads the camera department and oversees the company.

After establishing himself as a Director of Photography in the commercial world, he turned his attention to narrative work. In the last 3 years, he has served as the Director of Photography for shorts, a feature-lengthed web series, feature, and several TV show pilots.

Will lives in Greenville, SC, with his wife and daughter, Ella. When he’s not on set, you can most likely find him at a coffee shop, sipping on a latte and planning his next project.
